Information Technology Specialist

Role Overview

The IT Specialist will lead the IT operations, driving improvements in our technological infrastructure while providing hands-on support and guidance across multiple business units. This role will also manage our use of Zoho applications and ensure the security and stability of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the internal IT team, ensuring smooth operation of technical functions.
• Maintain, optimize, and upgrade company-wide IT systems, including servers, networks, and security protocols.
• Provide hands-on support and quick resolution of technical issues for all departments.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Zoho applications, ensuring their optimal use across all teams.
• Maintain cybersecurity tools.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT-related hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effective and efficient procurement.
• Provide technical training and support to staff, improving their IT knowledge and usage efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements for the Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an IT specialist/lead role.
• Proven experience managing IT systems, networks, and hardware in a business environment.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho applications and their use cases is ideal.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address multiple IT challenges in a fast-paced setting.
• Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
• Experience in vendor management and coordination with external IT service providers.
