Infrastructure Security Specialist, Abu Dhabi

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Specialist to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures across the organization's infrastructure and cloud environments. The specialist will work closely with IT teams to ensure the security and compliance of systems, networks, and cloud services with the organization’s cybersecurity policies and standards. This role requires deep expertise in infrastructure security, cloud security, and a strong understanding of modern IT architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Security Architecture: Design and implement security architectures for both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and endpoints.
• Infrastructure Security Governance: Develop and maintain detailed operating procedures for all information processing systems, covering their inputs, outputs, and dependencies. Maintain thorough documentation for infrastructure designs and configurations, ensuring robust security and formalized processes for network services.
• Virtualization and Segregation Controls: Utilize virtualization techniques where appropriate and implement strict segregation controls for various network types to enhance security posture.
• Security Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop and enforce security standards, guidelines, and best practices for network, hardware, and software systems, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
• Network Security: Design and implement a comprehensive suite of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and secure routing protocols, to protect infrastructure from security threats.
• Mobile Security: Implement mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) solutions (e.g., Intune) to secure corporate mobile devices and applications. Enforce mobile security policies, including device encryption, app whitelisting, and secure authentication protocols.

Minimum Experience Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance management and infrastructure security

• Infrastructure Security: Expertise in designing and securing IT infrastructure, including cloud environments
• Network Security: Proficient in using security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure routing
• Mobile Device Management: Experience with MDM and MAM solutions like Intune
