Infrastructure Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies to design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT systems that support core organizational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft-based infrastructure, including:
• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
• Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online
• Microsoft 365 / Office 365
• Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Endpoint Manager
• Administer and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
• Implement and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS services, including VMs, Storage, Networking, and Backup.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Ensure security compliance and implement best practices for patching, hardening, and access control.
• Manage PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Strong expertise in:
• Windows Server administration
• Active Directory and Azure AD
• Microsoft 365 administration
• PowerShell scripting
• Azure infrastructure services
• Experience with networking fundamentals, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Azure Backup).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, or other security tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migration projects
