Job Summary.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager – UAE & Qatar, this position will have overall responsibility for Inside sales deliverables in the key offering of OCTG Inspection, Machining & Manufacturing Services, responsible for coordinating and assisting with all sales commercial aspects, including RFQ/Tender processing and tracking, pricing analysis, quotation standardization, credit and accounts receivables review, forecast/backlog preparation, and ensuring that all Sales KPI’s are tracked and met, which includes supporting new business development as well as maximizing relationships and revenue with existing customers. You will utilize your sales skills to improve performance in order to achieve business targets across the region. Supporting our business and sales team for turning potential opportunities into orders, while standardizing key processes to reduce our risk and exposure to high outstanding receivables and other costly contractual commitments. Crucial to this role will be your ability to determine our customer needs, in order to align our value proposition with current and future expectations

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all sales activities, collect, fill, document and distribute RFQ’s, proposals, sales orders and Invoices.
  • Maintain Sales files and register
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports generated as part of the role
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFQ responses
  • Prepare proposals and presentations aligned with customer needs
  • Focal point between our customers and internal departments for inspection/machining operations, responsible for ensuring all ongoing and new orders are processed efficiently and effectively with providing the highest level of quality customer service
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Support and assist operations departments, carrying out other duties in line with machining services as and when business requirements dictate, as may be reasonably expected by line manager & senior management team within business unit.

Experience/Education/Skill-set Required

Essential:

  • Diploma / College degree in from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position with basic OCTG/ Oil and Gas Services methods
  • Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to create and track individual targets and metrics

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a position with a very basic understanding of what NOV Tuboscope offer.
  • Knowledge of basic Oilfield Technology
  • Degree in a relevant subject
  • Skill in interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to initiate customer contacts
  • Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
