This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation Designers with a proven track record in designing, developing and maintaining complex instrumentation systems to ensure precision, efficiency, and safety in industrial processes for high-profile clients.

The Key Objectives For This Role Are

• Creating and implementing advanced instrumentation systems for industrial processes.
• Enhancing system performance and efficiency through automation and control strategies.
• Ensuring all instrumentation adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues to maintain seamless operations.
• Leading instrumentation projects, coordinating with teams, and managing budgets.
• Researching and integrating new technologies to improve system capabilities
  
  

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• The role of Instrumentation Designer is to carry out day to day Instrumentation engineering and design activities in an assigned project
• The Designer reports functionally to the Department Manager and operationally to one or more Lead Engineers / Lead Designer The understanding of the technical requirements of the project, standards are crucial
• Assist the senior designer in Instrumentation design activities by timely developing the drawings as per project and company quality standards
• Ability to Analyze & understand Client requirements
• Ability to develop Bills of Materials
• SPI, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling or 2D Drafting
• Installation layouts (Instrument Location layouts, Air distribution, Main Cable Routing, Secondary cable tray). Building Layouts (Control Room Equipment layout, Earthing layout, Telecom layout). Instrument standard installation / Hookups and Cable block diagram
• Loop drawing, wiring diagram in 2D as well as in SPI
• Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management
• Coordinate within members of discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors etc.
• Participate in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out
• Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
• Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas

Expected

• Minimum five years experience
• Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics and Communication.
• In-depth knowledge of design tools – AutoCAD / Micro station,
• FPSO Design experience
• SPI, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling software experience
• Ability to organize and set priorities
• Ability to communicate and present effectively
• Ability to report in in English, both verbal & in writing
