Job Summary

IIQAF is an established insurance company looking for a corporate Insurance Agent/Advisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients understand the scope of their insurance coverage and assisting them in finding the most cost-effective solution to best meet their needs. This position requires a professional demeanor and outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance coverage, policy changes, and other related matters

• Work with underwriters to review and assess customer needs

• Provide quotes for potential policies

• Negotiate with underwriters and carriers to find the best rates and coverage

• Effectively explain coverage details to customers

• Track customer records and document details

• Maintain a thorough understanding of IIQAF’s products and services

• Research and evaluate new products

• Upsell additional services when appropriate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

• At least two years of experience in the insurance industry

• Previous experience with customer service a plus

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Outstanding communication and customer service skills

• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
