About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Engineer to join our team, specializing in the installation, and integration of interior systems and furnishings for luxury yachts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interior outfitting, marine systems, and technical drawing, with a sharp eye for quality, precision, and aesthetics.
Experience in interior design, carpentry, or on-site outfitting will be considered a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Engineer to join our team, specializing in the installation, and integration of interior systems and furnishings for luxury yachts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interior outfitting, marine systems, and technical drawing, with a sharp eye for quality, precision, and aesthetics.
Experience in interior design, carpentry, or on-site outfitting will be considered a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models, CAD layout sketches, and visual renderings of interior designs and furniture.
- Provide technical consultancy, including participation in design reviews in collaboration with other departments.
- Support and coordinate the assembly and installation of interior furniture on board.
- Propose and implement continuous improvements to interior designs.
- Effectively manage individual tasks and contribute to team-based projects.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with cross-functional teams.
- Assist with purchasing and stock management related to interior outfitting components and materials.
- Minimum 3 years of experience using SolidWorks.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to integrate design requirements with architectural and marine specifications.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with purchasing processes and stock management systems.
- Previous experience in the furniture or woodworking industry.
- Previous experience in the marine outfitting industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
