Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Estimator with Tendering Expertise specializing in interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, tendering, procurement analysis, and contract administration to ensure the successful delivery of high-end interior projects.


Key Responsibilities

Quantity Surveying & Cost Estimation

  • Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and interior design drawings.
  • Analyze project costs, materials, and labor to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with procurement and project teams to optimize cost control.

Tendering & Bidding

  • Review and analyze tender documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications.
  • Source quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to compile competitive bids.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor bids for cost-effectiveness.

Contract Administration & Risk Assessment

  • Prepare and review contract agreements, variations, and claims.
  • Identify potential cost risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in post-tender negotiations and contractual obligations.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and procurement teams.
  • Maintain accurate cost tracking, project reports, and tender documentation.
  • Provide cost advice and value engineering solutions throughout project stages.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in interior fit-out projects.
  • Strong expertise in tendering, cost estimation, and contract negotiation.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software (e.g., PlanSwift, CostX, Candy).
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, procurement strategies, and cost control methods.


Soft Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Effective communication for coordination with stakeholders.
