Intern - Sustainability

Overview

The role focuses on supporting sustainability-related projects through research, data management, and preparation of deliverables. The role provides exposure to green building certification systems, carbon management, energy performance modeling, and other sustainability assessments. Interns will contribute to project proposals, assist in reporting, and gain hands-on experience in applying international sustainability standards..

Your role

• Degree in an environmental, architecture, engineering, sustainability or other related subject.
• Knowledge and/or working experience in green building certification systems such as LEED, Estidama, Mostadam, WELL, etc.
• Relevant technical experience or knowledge of carbon management, whole-life carbon assessment, energy performance/modeling, and other relevant assessments and simulations.
• Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills and able to review the work of others to ensure quality.
• Able to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate issues and ideas effectively.
• Be flexible, adaptable, and prepared to take on new challenges and work from other Atkins or client office locations.
• Be highly self-motivated, possessing strong enthusiasm and commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes.

• Execute research tasks in areas related to sustainability.
• Seek, organise and generate data.
• Support in preparing project deliverables and proposals related to Atkins ongoing projects.
