International Mobility Specialist

We are looking for International Mobility Specialist to manage the overall International Mobility (IM) process inbound into the MEA region. This will include administering the relevant policy from preparation, implementation, follow up and end of international assignment. You will ensure compliance with immigration and tax regulations to preserve assignees & company from any risk while providing exceptional employee and stakeholder experience.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Manage the International Mobility packages and contracts:

  • Prepare International Mobility contracts & conditions in compliance with labour law and group policies
  • Define the International Compensation package including salary and benefits aligned with company policies, prepare and update the package calculation and ensure accurate implementation
  • Total cost projection calculation and & follow up on chargeback

Manage operational implementation of the international mobility:

  • Manage international mobility using the IMC available tools and systems; regular update of the systems;
  • Ensure accurate payroll implementation of the package and any salary updates
  • Provide regular reporting (tax, reward campaigns, etc)
  • Coordinate between assignee & vendors for the logistics implementation of the international assignment to the MEA regions (immigration/moving/relocation/social coverage registration/tax)
  • Manage & challenge vendors
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders with regards to signing of leases and cheques as well as start dates onboarding.
  • Report, follow-up and control expatriation and repatriation costs and expense claims
  • Follow-up the expatriates’ holidays and report to payroll (including sending reminders and keeping on control over the progress)
  • Ensure invoices follow up and payment
  • Regular & proactive update of steps/deadlines: assignee, HRBP & other stakeholders

IM consulting activities:

  • Ensure social security & pension coverage assessment and implementation in coordination with countries
  • Be the first level of assessment on tax & social issues in coordination with the team Leader and tax expert
  • Active advisory to HR, managers and employees on international mobility policies& impacts
  • Act as a strong leader & referral on all international related topics (international compensation, immigration, moving, relocation & social registration topics)
  • Actively Participate in various team projects at country, regional or global

Qualifications:

  • Degree in International Mobility, HR, Reward, Law, Tax, Economics or related field
  • Strong customer orientation, experience in direct customer management
  • Strong analytical skills combined with patience, rigor & attention to detail, autonomy and good organization
  • Process oriented but able to navigate with agility & with problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in collaboration with global/remote teams
  • knowledge of HR, HRS and/or payroll topics,
  • ability to navigate in different information systems and find relevant information, Computer literacy (MS Office), particularly Excel
  • proactive attitude, cross-cultural approach, ability to communicate easily and an International experience would be a plus
  • Language: English fluent, French would be a plus
