Investor Relations Manager

Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge? Citywire, a UK-based leader in independent intelligence and insight about asset management, is expanding its presence in the Middle East, and we are looking for a passionate and dynamic Investor Relations Manager to join our team.

As our Investor Relations Manager, you will be at the forefront of building and nurturing relationships with professional investors across the Middle East. Your mission will be to engage with key fund buyers, including retail banks, private banks, asset managers, and family offices, ensuring they are informed and connected through our various media channels.

What you’ll be doing:

• Relationship Building: Identify and cultivate new leads within the Middle East investment community, maintain regular contact via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings, and build strong, lasting relationships.
• Events: Collaborate with our events team to recruit delegates, attend and network at events, and conduct interviews.
• Research: Use insights gathered from meetings to identify research opportunities and enhance our digital and event-based offerings.
• Promotions: Actively promote Citywire's products, including events, publications, our website, manager ratings database, and research.
• Knowledge Development: Stay informed on relevant themes and trends through meetings and news and collaborate with other departments.
• Database Management: Ensure our CRM system is up to date and accurate.
• Editorial Collaboration: Work with our audience to develop and contribute to engaging editorial content.
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• You are a self-starter, comfortable working independently, and you don't shy away from getting into the details, whether it's updating the CRM system or crafting an editorial feature.
• Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Middle East market is a plus.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel throughout the GCC region.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic or French is highly desired.
• A degree in Business, Finance, International Relations, or a related field is advantageous.
