We are seeking an experienced Invoicing Specialist to oversee daily invoicing in the company, to liaise with flight operations, procurement team and ground handling services, and procurement activities within our aviation organization. This role requires a strong background in aviation operations, particularly in operations support services, vendor management. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in negotiating contracts, managing service providers, and optimizing operational efficiency to ensure seamless and cost-effective aviation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and review invoices from suppliers for accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify that invoices have proper approvals and comply with company policies.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and address billing issues.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist in financial analyses and reporting as needed.
  • Work closely with other departments, including procurement and finance, to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounts payable procedures.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or in a similar role.
  • 2+ years of experience within aviation industry in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by flight schedules.
