IOT Technician - Operations

Our client is expanding their operations team and seeking a skilled and proactive IoT Technician to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clients' IoT systems, including the robot fleet.

Additionally, the resource will manage maintenance and repair works for our IoT devices, including lift modules, turnstile and door modules etc. This role will also require on the ground operations to ensure smooth deliveries and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain client’s proprietary lift hardware and associated IoT system to ensure smooth operations of client’s robotic fleet when interacting with lift modules, turnstiles and automated doors.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to integrate smart sensors, connectivity devices, and automation tools into lift infrastructure.Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on IoT-enabled lift systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure all lift integration projects comply with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
• Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for installed IoT lift systems, ensuring long-term reliability and functionality.
• Regularly monitor systems for performance issues, conduct software and hardware updates, and handle troubleshooting as necessary.
• Provide ongoing support to maintain client’s IoT enabled robot fleet.
• Work together with the on ground Operations Team as a key member to maintain on ground efficiency and effectiveness of delivery service.
  
  

Requirements

Education

• Education in the field of Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Operations etc.
• Associated vocational training certifications/programs
• Able to understand and execute basic electrical works.
• Have understanding of basic lift maintenance and operations.
• Knowledge of IoT platforms, communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, Modbus, BACnet), and wireless technologies is a bonus
• Experience with lift systems, sensors, controllers, and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with networking, cloud platforms, and IoT device management tools.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Have good communication skills.
• Project management experience is a bonus.
