Position Summary
- Generate statistical reports and track key metrics to support decision-making.
- Develop and enforce auditing policies to monitor and ensure system compliance and security.
- Optimize system performance through tuning and proactive maintenance to ensure reliable uptime.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of hospital data through proper authentication and authorization procedures.
- Monitor and maintain ICT security systems, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion prevention measures, to protect hospital systems and data.
- Conduct daily backup operations and manage the configuration of vital server systems.
- Recommend resources such as space, equipment, technology, and other assets to hospital leadership in support of information technology systems.
- Coordinate and perform risk assessments to evaluate information security risks, prioritize them, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure staff education and training on information security protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Identify key metrics to assess the functionality of systems, such as the electronic medical record system, and their impact on staff and patients.
- Support all aspects of the data center operations, including servers, infrastructure, SAN storage, backup solutions, VMware, networking, and various server systems (Windows, Redhat, SQL, etc.).
- Utilize strong problem-solving and communication skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating when necessary.
- Mentor junior staff and system engineers to build technical expertise across the team.
