IT Engineer (m/f/d)

A leading organization is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to deliver exceptional end-user support and ensure operational stability across assigned sites and projects. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and third-party support providers to maintain infrastructure reliability and drive customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support to end users, diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects, including system upgrades, hardware refresh cycles, and software deployments.
• Participate in proof of concepts to define technology direction and enable business strategy.
• Communicate and validate program architecture with infrastructure, project management, and technology services teams.
• Ensure adherence to SLA requirements and maintain standardized documentation for procedures and configurations.
• Follow data retention, backup, and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, security, application support) to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure/operations design and deployment.
• 5+ years in server and network management for medium to large organizations.
• 2+ years in implementing security requirements.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
• Familiarity with IT helpdesk tools (e.g., ManageEngine, Zoho, SolarWinds).
• Knowledge of Unified Communication platforms, firewalls, managed switches, and web application firewalls.
