IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

A leading organization is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize core infrastructure systems supporting both on-premises and cloud environments. This role ensures high availability, performance, security, and scalability across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage servers, storage, and network components (on-premises and/or cloud).
• Maintain and optimize virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Administer Windows server environments and manage Active Directory.
• Configure and maintain switches, firewalls, routers, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Manage cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP), including compute, storage, identity, and networking.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring tools.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications: ITIL Foundation, CCNA or equivalent, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), AWS/Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience: 3–7 years in IT infrastructure roles, with proven experience in large-scale projects, migrations, and upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization technologies, and enterprise networking.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in IT infrastructure.
