IT Procurement Specialist

seeking a highly skilled and experienced **IT Procurement Specialist** to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing procurement processes specifically related to IT systems, hardware, software, and services, including RFPs, tenders, and vendor management. Proficiency in Oracle Fusion is essential, and a qualification in CIPS is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the end-to-end IT procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.  

2. Develop and implement IT sourcing strategies that optimize cost-efficiency while ensuring high-quality technology solutions.  

3. Collaborate with internal IT teams and business stakeholders to understand and address procurement needs.  

4. Prepare and issue RFPs, tenders, and other procurement documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.  

5. Evaluate IT vendor proposals based on criteria such as technical capability, cost, and delivery schedules.  

6. Negotiate contracts with IT vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms and conditions.  

7. Monitor vendor performance against service-level agreements (SLAs) and address any issues or concerns.  

8. Utilize Oracle Fusion or other procurement systems to manage IT procurement activities efficiently and maintain accurate records.  

9. Stay informed about trends in IT procurement, emerging technologies, and market conditions to refine procurement strategies.  

10. Support cross-functional teams on technology-related projects, ensuring procurement aligns with project goals and timelines.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.  

2. At least 5 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on IT-related categories such as software, hardware, cloud services, and IT consulting.  

3. Deep understanding of IT procurement processes, including licensing, subscription models, and managed services.  

4. Proven experience with RFPs, tenders, and IT vendor management.  

5. Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or similar procurement platforms is required.  

6. Preferred qualification in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or a similar certification.  

7. Strong negotiation and contract management skills, particularly in IT-related agreements.  

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors.  

9. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess technical proposals and make data-driven decisions.  

10. Ability to manage multiple IT procurement projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.  

11. Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving technology needs.
