Position Summary
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting data collection, processing, and analysis efforts to help drive decision-making within the organization. You will collaborate with senior analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, properly analyzed, and presented in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Cleaning:
- Assist in gathering data from various internal and external sources.
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure its accuracy and consistency.
- Use tools like Excel, SQL, for data manipulation.
- Conduct preliminary data analysis and statistical modeling under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets.
- Support the creation of dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports and visualizations to present data findings to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain documentation for data processes and reports.
- Summarize key findings to support business decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs.
- Support senior data analysts and data scientists on various projects.
- Help maintain databases and data systems to ensure they remain organized and functional.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data storage solutions.
- Proficiency in Advance Microsoft Excel for data manipulation.
- Basic knowledge of SQL to extract and manipulate data from databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Basic programming skills in Python or R (preferable).
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques (e.g., correlation, regression).
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
- Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from senior analysts.
- Eagerness to learn new tools, methodologies, and technologies.
- Good time management and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
