Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial records, and support the senior accountant in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software

• Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, invoices, and bank entries

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records

• Support in preparing VAT filings and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations

• Process employee reimbursements, petty cash, and payroll support

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure financial data accuracy

• Assist in audits and financial reviews

• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 1-2 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books)

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Good understanding of VAT and UAE accounting standards

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
