Job Brief:

A leading design and manufacturing company specializing in bespoke retail and technical solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join their team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will support the estimation process by analyzing project requirements, sourcing material costs, and preparing accurate quotations for custom-built displays and metal fabrication projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review design drawings, specifications, and client requirements to understand the scope of work.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations for projects related to metal fabrication and retail display units.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams to gather accurate material and labor costs.
• Maintain and update cost databases for materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions when required.
• Support the senior estimation team in bid submissions and proposal documentation.
• Track variations, change orders, and cost impacts throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in estimation or a similar role, preferably in sheet metal / metal fabrication / metal manufacturing industry
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and BOQs.
• Basic understanding of CNC, laser cutting, powder coating, and sheet metal processes is a plus.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills.
