Job Brief:

A great opportunity for a self-driven professional with solid experience in the food service industry. Our client, a leading food services company, is looking for a Key Account Manager – Food Service (FMCG) to manage and grow accounts across the region. The role involves driving sales within the HORECA sector, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage account activity plans to achieve budgeted volumes and margin objectives in line with business unit strategy.
  • Oversee sales and distribution for the food service segment (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering Companies, Ship Chandlers, and Bakeries) across all Emirates.
  • Enhance existing business and target new customers to expand market share.
  • Monitor competitor activities through market surveys and implement strategies to retain and grow market share.
  • Coordinate with the sales team and finance department for timely payment collections as per agreed credit terms.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer complaints promptly.
  • Lead negotiation processes by preparing strategies and scenarios to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Continuously analyze customer development data to identify and maximize business opportunities.
  • Build effective annual promotion plans, conceptual sales presentations, and position the company’s brands as leaders within the category.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization to ensure alignment with customer objectives.
  • Effectively manage out-of-stock situations in coordination with relevant departments to avoid customer disruption.


Job Requirements:

  • Graduate with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience in the HORECA industry.
  • Background in the meat industry (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications, with strong financial and marketing skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in client relationship management, staff training, and development.
  • Strong planning, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in managing business development agreements.
  • Valid driving license.
