Key Account Manager-Energies & Chemical Segment (Oil & Gas)

We are looking for the Key Account Manager (KAM) to be responsible for managing strategic relationships with major Oil & Gas clients in UAE. This role focuses on driving sales growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships within the Energies and Chemical segment, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Customer Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including national oil companies, EPCs, and service providers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, ensuring alignment with their business goals and operational needs.
- Conduct regular account reviews, performance tracking, and strategic planning sessions.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and across the segment.
- Drive sales of technical solutions, services, and digital offerings tailored to Oil & Gas operations.
- Lead negotiations, contract renewals, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and customer value.
C-Level Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders (e.g., CEOs, CTOs, Operations Directors).
- Facilitate strategic discussions around energy transition, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
- Present business cases and ROI analyses to support investment decisions.
Segment Strategy & Collaboration
- Align account strategies with the broader Energies & Chemical segment goals.
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solution relevance and execution excellence.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and innovation.
Performance & Reporting
- Track and report on account KPIs, sales targets, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and escalations, maintaining high service standards.
- Support forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Oil & Gas account management or technical sales.
- Proven success in managing complex accounts and engaging with C-level stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the Gulf region’s energy landscape and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project management practices.
