Role: Strategic Account Manager – Government Sector (UAE)
As a Strategic Account Manager – Government Sector, you will play a critical role in establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with government entities across the UAE. You will position Carrier as the preferred partner for HVAC and energy solutions by aligning our capabilities with the evolving needs of strategic public sector stakeholders. This role combines business development, policy engagement, and regulatory compliance to support Carrier’s long-term success in the government sector.

Role: Strategic Account Manager – Government Sector (UAE)
As a Strategic Account Manager – Government Sector, you will play a critical role in establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with government entities across the UAE. You will position Carrier as the preferred partner for HVAC and energy solutions by aligning our capabilities with the evolving needs of strategic public sector stakeholders. This role combines business development, policy engagement, and regulatory compliance to support Carrier’s long-term success in the government sector.
Role Responsibilities
Government Engagement & Strategy
- Develop and implement strategic account plans for government entities, aligned with Carrier’s overall business development strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, regulatory bodies, and decision-makers.
- Represent Carrier at public forums, industry events, hearings, and regulatory meetings to strengthen public perception and institutional presence.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and government regulations, including processing and renewing licenses, permits, and registrations.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments impacting the HVAC and energy sectors.
- Provide expert advice and strategic recommendations to leadership on regulatory risks, changes, and opportunities.
- Foster strategic alliances and partnerships with relevant government stakeholders to build support for Carrier initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with legal, HR, public affairs, and business units to ensure consistent internal policy alignment.
- Support proactive engagement and coordinated responses to evolving government actions and policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- MBA is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE market dynamics, with a focus on government sectors.
- Understanding of HVAC technologies is a plus.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in government relations, strategic account management, or public sector business development.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- UAE Driving License required.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in business tools.
