Lake Dosing Operator

JOB PURPOSE:

The role holder will be responsible for supporting the Lake Dosing Supervisor in the day to day on site operations required to fulfil the conditions of the contract for the above operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working as part of the lake dosing team carrying out the required operations of chemical preparation, chemical dosing and sampling / monitoring.
• Prepare and mix chemicals on the boats as per the SOP and training .
• Collect chemicals from chemicals delivery truck and arrange into the chemical store. Transport chemical from store to chemical preparation area when needed.
• Drive the testing boat and dosing boat keeping an eye on all surrounding and avoiding contact with cleaning hoses. Training to be provided by Lake Dosing Supervisor.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained in accordance with planned maintenance schedules and under the direction of the Lake Dosing supervisor.
  
  

Working with third party contractors for lake testing as required and directed by Lake Dosing Supervisor.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Able to speak English ,Hindi,Malayalam or Tamil.
• The role holder will need to be diligent and self motivated.The role will involve working outside and on water in harsh climate conditions with planned breaks and rotation.
• Understanding of chemicals using for water treatment and prior knowledge in water treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma in any discipline / water treatment .
• Ability to swim.
