We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team, based in Sharjah/Dubai, and contribute to the success of our projects in the Middle East.

As a Landscape Architect at WSP, you will play a vital role in shaping the natural and built environment through your creative design solutions. Leveraging your 4-5 years of experience, you will collaborate with a team of professionals to plan, design, and oversee the implementation of landscape projects that enhance the aesthetic, ecological, and functional aspects of our projects.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Landscape Design: Lead and contribute to the conceptualization and detailed design of landscape elements for various projects, including urban developments, parks, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Site Analysis: Perform comprehensive site assessments, analyzing topography, soil conditions, climate, and existing vegetation to guide the design process.
• Plant Selection: Select suitable plant species and materials, considering local climate, sustainability, and aesthetic goals, ensuring they are compatible with Middle East environmental conditions.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced CAD software and other design tools to develop detailed landscape plans, construction documents, and specifications.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and environmental consultants, to ensure the seamless integration of landscape design with overall project goals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about local regulations and codes related to landscape design in Middle East, ensuring all designs meet legal requirements.
• Budget Management: Assist in budget estimation, cost control, and procurement for landscape design elements, ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements, present design concepts, and maintain clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Sustainability: Promote sustainable design practices, incorporating environmental principles and best practices into landscape projects.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in landscape design and architecture, ideally within Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit with BIM capabilities, and Lumion.
• Strong understanding of Middle East plant species, local environmental conditions, and landscape construction techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Middle East landscape design regulations and standards is advantageous.
• Professional licensure or certification in landscape architecture is preferred.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
