Landscape Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Electrical Engineer to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the installation of electrical systems specifically related to landscape elements such as outdoor lighting, irrigation controls, and power distribution for external facilities. The role demands close collaboration with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure functional and aesthetic integration of electrical components in landscape projects.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop electrical systems for landscape projects, including lighting, underground cabling, control systems, and power supply.Coordinate with landscape architects and civil engineers to integrate electrical designs seamlessly.Conduct site surveys to assess requirements and feasibility of electrical installations.Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines.Review and approve electrical shop drawings and material submittals.Supervise on-site installation and testing of landscape electrical systems.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.Estimate costs and assist with project budgeting.Collaborate with contractors and vendors to procure equipment and materials.Prepare project reports, documentation, and as-built drawings.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Minimum 4-10 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on landscape or outdoor systems.Strong knowledge of outdoor lighting systems (LED, solar, pathway, façade, etc.).Experience with electrical design software (AutoCAD, Dialux, Revit, etc.).Familiar with local electrical codes, NEC, and international standards.Good understanding of power distribution, control systems, and low-voltage applications.Excellent project management and communication skills.Valid engineering license or certification is a plus.
