Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Inspector (Including Irrigation Networks) to join our team!

In this role you will get to inspect, monitor, and verify landscape and irrigation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and authority standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect and monitor landscape works including softscape, hardscape, planting, street furniture, and landscape finishes.
• Inspect installation and testing of irrigation networks, including pipework, valves, pumps, controllers, drip and sprinkler systems.
• Verify works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and material approvals.
• Review and verify contractor submissions, inspection requests (IRs), and test results related to landscape and irrigation works.
• Ensure proper coordination of landscape and irrigation works with utilities, roads, and structures.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, and installation quality, and raise non-conformances where required.
• Record site observations, maintain inspection records, and support preparation of as-built and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with site supervision engineers and contractors to resolve site issues and construction queries.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in landscaping or any related field
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience on field projects
• Strong experience in landscape construction inspection, including irrigation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape and irrigation drawings, details, and specifications.
• Knowledge of irrigation components, testing procedures, and commissioning requirements.
• Understanding of QA/QC inspection processes and documentation.
• Ability to monitor site activities and report on progress, quality, and compliance.
• Abu Dhabi residents will be given preference
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Experience on large-scale infrastructure or highway projects in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and standards related to landscape and irrigation works.
• Experience supporting handover and close-out activities, including as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Strong communication and coordination skills when working with contractors and supervision teams.
• Previous experience in a PMC or construction supervision consultancy environment.
