Legal Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in India and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the UAE, with a strong background in corporate and business law. Candidates with a history of working in the legal departments of reputed national or international organizations are preferred. The position demands expertise in business laws, impeccable drafting, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide timely updates on applicable laws and regulations.
• Liaise with external legal counsels and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with local and international business laws and regulations.
• Maintain and organize legal documents and records.
• Provide legal support for ongoing projects and transactions, ensuring risks are mitigated.
• Assist in dispute resolution, including preparing documentation and coordination with external counsel when needed.
• Manage correspondence with internal and external stakeholders related to legal matters.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent). A Master’s degree (LLM) is preferred.
• 8-10 years of professional legal experience in India, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, commercial laws, and corporate compliance.
• Proven experience with contract drafting and negotiations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
