Customer Service
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests by monitoring water activities and enforcing park, ride and attraction rules and regulations.
- Provide exceptional guest service by assisting guests with inquiries and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Handle guest complaints and incidents in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring issues are resolved satisfactorily.
- Maintain positive interactions with guests and colleagues, fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
- Maximize productivity through effective time management and multi-tasking.
- Assist in managing resources efficiently to meet the financial goals of the park.
- Embrace new technology and methods to enhance safety and improve productivity.
- Monitor rides, slides, pools and rivers to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid and CPR as needed.
- Be flexible and adapt to different roles and tasks within the aquatics department.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lifeguard stations and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in good working condition and report any issues to the Aquatics Operations Team Leader or Department Management.
- Participate in regular safety audits and drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
- Work closely with other lifeguards and Aquatics staff to ensure a cohesive and safe guest experience.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance lifesaving skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to the park's grooming and appearance standards, ensuring a professional and approachable image.
- Follow all park policies on fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all times.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings and training sessions.
- Support the implementation of the park's values and culture.
- Undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Aquatic Operations Team Leader or Department Management. Occasional Duties
- Assist in carrying out inventory of safety equipment.
- Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
