Job Description:

As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our logistics and supply chain activities. Your responsibilities will include coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth logistics processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor the shipment of goods, ensuring timely delivery and tracking.

• Assist in the management of inventory levels, including regular stock checks and reconciliations.

• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient logistics operations.

• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.

• Update and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.

• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.

• Assist in the resolution of logistics-related issues and discrepancies.

• Monitor and analyze logistics data to provide reports and insights for process improvement.

• Perform other logistics and administrative tasks as assigned by the logistics manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to logistics challenges.
