Job Brief:
We are seeking a Logistics Executive to manage local dispatches within the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have experience handling logistics operations, a strong understanding of incoterms, and knowledge of documentation for dangerous goods. Prior experience in the chemical manufacturing or trading industry is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage local dispatches to Saudi Arabia and within the United Arab Emirates.
- Handle logistics operations for Jebel Ali Free Zone, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments while maintaining efficiency in operations.
- Coordinate with transporters, shipping lines, and internal teams to ensure smooth dispatch processes.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes.
- Ensure compliance with regulations for handling and transporting dangerous goods.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to hazardous material shipments.
- Liaise with customs authorities and regulatory bodies for necessary approvals and clearances.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to optimize stock movement.
- Address logistics-related issues, delays, or discrepancies and provide solutions proactively.
Job Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of INCO terms and international shipping regulations.
- Experience in handling logistics operations within the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
- Understanding of documentation and regulatory requirements for dangerous goods.
- Experience in the chemical manufacturing or trading industry is preferred.
