Job Brief:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing inbound and outbound logistics operations, coordinating with shipping lines and agents, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely deliveries. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics processes, SAP systems, and import/export regulations within the UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with shipping lines and agents to arrange trailers and containers for inbound deliveries.
• Manage and organize all inbound and outbound shipment activities.
• Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare monthly logistics reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ensure all import and export documentation for sea freight is completed and compliant with UAE regulations.
• Handle customs documentation processes for Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and timely clearance of shipments.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience using SAP.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Familiarity with customs documentation processes in Abu Dhabi and Dubai is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
• Capable of maintaining accurate records for inbound shipments.
• Sound knowledge of import and export clearance documentation, especially for sea freight.
• Proficient in preparing monthly reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
