Role Purpose

To manage and coordinate all logistics activities for MEP projects, ensuring timely procurement, delivery, and movement of materials, equipment, and resources, as well as the transportation of workers, while maintaining proper documentation and compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Plan, organize, and monitor the movement of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from project sites.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track material usage on-site.

  • Prepare logistics schedules in line with project timelines and coordinate with the procurement and site teams.

  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and transportation of materials to avoid damage or loss.

  • Arrange and manage the transportation of workers to and from project sites, ensuring safety, timeliness, and efficiency.

  • Assist in material inspection and verification upon delivery to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

  • Prepare and maintain logistics reports, delivery notes, and movement records.

  • Support cost control and budget tracking related to logistics operations.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and UAE transport laws.

  • Coordinate with site teams to prioritize urgent requirements and solve logistics-related issues.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics or materials coordination, preferably in MEP or construction projects in the UAE.

  • Knowledge of inventory management, procurement processes, and transportation logistics.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
