Job Description

The Business Excellence Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing quality management frameworks across the organization. This role involves process optimization, ensuring compliance with ISO and EFQM standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Support

  • Assist in developing and executing a Business Excellence strategy aligned with the organization's objectives.

Process Optimization

  • Lead efforts in process mapping, journey mapping, reengineering, and gap analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address process inefficiencies and enhance organizational workflows.

Standards Implementation

  • Facilitate the application, certification, and maintenance of ISO standards and the EFQM Excellence Model across business units.

Award Submissions

  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of award submissions, ensuring compliance with excellence criteria and timelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with teams across departments, including Legal, Finance, and Operations, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Compliance Audits

  • Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process and business performance excellence.

Best Practices and Guidance

  • Provide expert guidance on process mapping, journey mapping, and gap analysis techniques.
  • Share insights and implement best practices to align with global quality standards.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in quality management or process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO, EFQM) are strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or business excellence roles.
  • Prior experience in consulting or managing large-scale process improvement projects is advantageous.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of process mapping, journey mapping, reengineering, and gap analysis.
  • Proficient in quality frameworks such as ISO standards and EFQM Excellence Model.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
