Manager, Compliance Advisory

We are working with an energy company on a new Compliance Manager position based in Abu Dhabi.

This role sits in the Compliance Advisory department and requires someone with 8-15 years experience. You will report to the Senior VP of Ethics and Compliance and have 2-3 direct reports.

You will need to have experience in insider management, sanctions, data privacy and ESG. The ideal candidate will also have oil and gas trading experience.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge

• 8-15 years of professional experience in similar roles, with at least 2 years in-house in a senior or lead role, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Must have a legal background, ideally as a qualified lawyer
• Deep workable knowledge of applicable legislations and regulations.
• Experience in insider management, sanctions, data privacy and ESG.
• Knowledge of business and international best practices.
• Excellent English language (written and spoken).
• Fluent Arabic in addition is an advantage.
