Position Overview:
As Legal & Contract Manager, you will oversee the full contract lifecycle for our global supply chain, where you will be driving compliance, optimizing commercial value, and mitigating risk. This is a high-impact position requiring deep expertise in defense procurement regulations, strategic negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.

As Legal & Contract Manager, you will oversee the full contract lifecycle for our global supply chain, where you will be driving compliance, optimizing commercial value, and mitigating risk. This is a high-impact position requiring deep expertise in defense procurement regulations, strategic negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You Will Do:
- Lead end-to-end contract management: negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster transparency and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms—covering pricing, delivery, quality, and IP rights.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks such as delays, cost overruns, and performance gaps.
- Draft and refine contract language to ensure clarity and minimize ambiguity.
- Negotiate new contracts and amendments to secure favorable terms for the organization.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure timely updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance and address deviations swiftly and effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance) for seamless execution.
- Stay current with defense industry regulations and integrate compliance into contract strategy.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on contract performance and risk areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- 5+ years of contract management experience, ideally in the defense sector
- Proven success negotiating complex, high-value contracts
- Deep understanding of defense procurement regulations
- Contract Management Mastery of contract lifecycle, negotiation tactics, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance Ability to interpret and apply defense procurement regulations with precision.
- Commercial Acumen Skilled in negotiating terms that maximize value and minimize exposure.
- Analytical Thinking Strong ability to assess risks, uncover opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Problem-Solving Proven track record of resolving disputes and implementing practical, effective solutions.
- Communication & Negotiation Excellent interpersonal and advocacy skills to influence outcomes and build alignment.
- Attention to Detail High level of accuracy in drafting, reviewing, and executing contract language.
- Stakeholder Management Ability to foster trust and collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
- Project Management Capable of managing multiple contracts and deadlines with efficiency and focus.
- Technical Knowledge Familiarity with defense-specific terminology and operational requirements.
