We’re looking for a talented Credit Portfolio & Collections Strategy Manager to join our growing team at Wio Bank. In this key role, you’ll oversee the management of both Retail and SME lending portfolios while driving innovation and ensuring strong risk controls.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Monitor credit portfolios—analyze trends, detect increased risk and identify potential fraud.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor risk buildup, and ensure consistent reporting to stakeholders.
Collaborate with the data team and partners to drive scorecards and data-driven decision-making.
Build and report on the IFRS framework, coordinating with various teams and ensuring accuracy in forecasts and methodology effectiveness.
Develop management reporting dashboards and deliver data insights to committees and forums.
Strategize and monitor collection efforts for retail and SME portfolios, including decisions on in-house vs outsourcing allocations.
Own the Loss Forecasting and Provisioning processes to inform capital, operational, and investment planning.
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of experience in risk, underwriting, and collection strategy—experience in the UAE market is a must.
Strong background in retail and SME lending products within banks or lending institutions.
Expertise in ECL (Expected Credit Loss) calculation methodology.
Experience in designing and running collection strategies.
Familiarity with data extraction/query techniques for conducting detailed data analysis.
Bonus points if you have experience running decision trees.
