Role: Manager, Digital Adoption

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

  • The Manager, Digital Adoption will be responsible for driving the strategic adoption and integration of digital technologies and solutions across the bank.
  • This role will focus on enhancing customers engagement with digital tools, ensuring seamless transitions to new systems, and optimizing digital strategies to support the bank’s growth and innovation objectives.


Key Accountabilities of the role:

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital adoption strategies aligned with the bank’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify key areas where digital technologies can improve processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Create and execute detailed project plans for digital adoption initiatives, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with senior management, IT, and other departments to understand digital needs and requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for digital adoption projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate and engage stakeholders on digital tools and strategies.


Change Management:

  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions to new digital systems and processes.
  • Develop and implement communication plans to address any concerns and promote the benefits of digital adoption.
  • Monitor and address resistance to change, providing solutions and support as needed.


Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital adoption initiatives.
  • Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize digital strategies.
  • Prepare and present reports on adoption metrics, progress, and outcomes to senior management.


Customer Experience Enhancement:

  • Work closely with the Customer Experience teams to ensure that digital solutions meet user needs and enhance satisfaction.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from users to continuously improve digital products and services.


Innovation and Trends:

  • Stay abreast of the latest digital trends, technologies, and best practices in the banking industry.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and recommend new digital solutions to drive competitive advantage.


Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for digital adoption projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and monitor expenditures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.


Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure that digital adoption initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital transformations and technology implementations.

Previous experience:

  • 7 to 10 years of banking/business management experience in Retail Banking.
  • Proven track record of managing the development and delivery of Digital programs.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
