What you'll be doing:
The role holder is responsible for maintaining and planning overall company policies regarding e-business development. He/She will identify, develop, negotiate annual business development agreements with potential e-commerce business partners. The role holder will be responsible for making and executing full year e-commerce strategies and marketing calendar of the channel. May coordinate at inter department level to achieve the set objectives while adhering to company policies. E-Commerce manager shall possess a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for driving sales through innovative digital marketing strategies.
Job Description:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive Online sales and enhance brand visibility within the food and non-food sectors
Product Management: Oversee product selection, pricing, and inventory management. Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely product availability and quality control.
Operations Management: Identify, Develop and manage all e-commerce customers. Negotiate, align and execute annual contracts with the customers in line with the company policies. Ensure that the sales targets are met. Take actions leading to target achievement as per set company policies.
Digital Marketing: Create and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media strategies tailored to the target audience in collaboration with Principal and Marketing.
Customer Experience: Enhance the customer journey by implementing best practices for user experience, customer service, and post-purchase engagement. Work closely with TM team to create comprehensive TM and brand activation plans.
Analytics and Reporting: Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to make informed decisions. Prepare regular reports for management on performance metrics and growth opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, trade marketing, IT, and logistics, to ensure a strong supply chain, category dominance, and therefore a seamless Online shopping experience.
Website Development & Optimization: Ensure the e-commerce platform is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for conversion. Monitor website performance and implement improvements based on analytics.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Conduct regular business analysis and identify potential opportunities for further growth at category level. Achieve the annual profit targets of the channel.
Technical/Functional Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field. MBA holder is preferred
Experience:
10 years of total experience with minimum 3 years' experience into managing E-commerce channel operations, annual contracts, marketing and sales preferably in electronics and household goods.

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools. Thorough knowledge of the particular categories being sold which include food preparation, cookware & small domestic appliances including electronics as well as food products.
