About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Manager to join Jumeirah Mina Al Salam. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Review mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, and automation systems throughout all project phases to ensure alignment with Jumeirah brand standards and technical requirements.
• Participate in meetings with consultants, owners, and internal teams to communicate brand guidelines, ensure system integration, and support intuitive, guest-focused design solutions.
• Provide expert guidance during desktop reviews, property improvement plans, and capital projects—assisting in vendor selection, due diligence, budgeting, and timelines.
• Conduct engineering audits and review consultant drawings to uphold safety, security, sustainability, and environmental standards across all properties.
• Lead implementation of engineering initiatives using internal and external resources, ensuring compliance with technical and brand standards while supporting operational efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends, promote sustainable practices, and introduce engineering innovations to enhance long-term property performance.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, HVAC, or Control Systems) from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 8 years’ hands-on experience in engineering project delivery, preferably within the international hospitality sector.
• Proven ability to work effectively with design teams and architects, integrating brand standards with technical and functional requirements.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written), advanced computer literacy, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
