Job Description

Enterprise Excellence is a centralized function in AGI. The function is responsible to drive the transformation of operating models and change management across AGI Business Units and Corporate functions, with a view to achieve the Group's strategic goals. The function partners with AGI Business Units and Corporate functions to help the CEOs, and Heads achieve their objectives by delivering initiatives focused on improving business performance. The person in this role will lead end to end target operating model design and transformation projects from an in-depth diagnostic analysis to identify issues and pain points, designing solutions to achieve project aspirations and to implement the transformation effectively and in a sustainable manner. This role supports the SVP EE to execute Transformation Program, deliver business value and sustainable change.

Strategic

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead business performance improvement and Target operating model design projects in assigned Business Units and Corporate functions, and deliver initiatives that result in productivity gains, efficiency savings, and improved customer experiences.
  • Partner with different business and department heads and help them achieve their business improvement and performance targets.
  • Create a foundation of sustainable change at assigned Business Unit/Corporate function through trainings, skill enhancement, effective performance management & communication, and a mindset of continuous improvement.

Operational

  • Deliver operating model transformation programs at the assigned Business unit or corporate function independently with the help of the assigned team members.
  • These programs will include a next generation operating model design and implementation covering: - Voice of Customer, Process Efficiency & People Effectiveness - Business Performance Improvement - Performance Management Structures - Improvement Mindset.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and deliver initiatives related to cost reduction, revenue enhancement and profitability improvement.
  • Plan and deliver the project to deliver quality business solutions within agreed timeframe while managing the risks, as per the agreed AGI framework.
  • Execute scope of the deployment assignment, particularly business analysis, diagnostic activities, design, pilot, and implementation.
  • Ensure robust governance throughout the life cycle of the project, including periodic review of adoption and realization of defined outcomes.
  • Ensure clear handover at each stage and to the business at closure for sustainability and control.
  • Support and provide input into decision group meetings / steering committee meetings / workshops for EE team and/or with representatives from other relevant business areas.
  • Use specialist knowledge and/or experience of business areas or products and use problem solving techniques to guide design and implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of change across the organization through trainings, skill enhancements, and effective performance management & communication.
  • Manage change related aspects which include influencing people to acknowledge change is for their betterment.

People Management

  • Establish clear objectives, roles and responsibilities of the program/project team members.
  • Coach team members on AGI framework, lean and six sigma principles and ensure development.
  • Manage team's performance goals and problem solve for improvements.
  • Develop project team members/change agents in line with target competencies.
  • Participate in employee engagement related initiatives and action planning.
  • Conduct coaching sessions with the Business Units to support the development of a EE toolkit and continuous improvement skills.

Product/Process Improvement

  • Lead Target operating model design and transformation projects at assigned business unit or corporate function This will be done by.
  • Leading the Diagnostic (analysis of business performance results, mapping existing processes, operating model maturity analysis, costs analysis, customer feedback, audit reports, and any other business data to confirm the business opportunity and build the business case).
  • Leading Design (operating model, business process redesign against leading benchmarks, or operating model maturity targets).
  • Direct the implementation (of the 'To Be' process by ensuring business ownership, alignment of internal stakeholders and agreement on the new models).
  • Create implementation plans by leveraging internal capabilities and track to closure.
  • Measure impact of the change and track realization of the identified benefits.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • PREFERRED : Master's degree, Six Sigma Black Belt, Certification in Change Management, Agile, Digital Transformation, Certified Scrum Master.
  • MINIMUM : Undergraduate bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Science. PMP and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or equivalents).

Knowledge & Skill

  • Experience in operating model transformation, Organizational Effectiveness, Lean, and Change Management.
  • Experience in leading implementation of large-scale, high value transformation projects at business unit level.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and execute large scale transformation project with minimal supervision.
  • Experienced in identifying transformation opportunities, process redesign and applying innovative and creative solutions to legacy issues.
  • Results-driven achiever who can grasp and communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Creative thinker with deep problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong inter-personal and relationship skills, adept at influencing and managing a wide range of stakeholders and across all levels of hierarchy.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to deliver and drive excellence.
  • Resilience, positive mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Experience

  • PREFERRED : In addition to minimum Digital Transformation Experience Experience workong on different business processes or industries.
  • MINIMUM : 5+ years hands-on experience in a Change Programs, Project Management, and Business Analysis- 5+ years of experience working on Ops Excellence/Lean/Six Sigma projects.
