Manager - External Communications

What you’ll deliver
- You will plan, execute, and evaluate Arabic media relations programmes, including senior executive interviews, translations and Arabisation, crisis communications, Arabic social media management, internal capability building, and cross-departmental content coordination.
- You will lead senior-level Arabic media management by developing targeted media strategies, building strong relationships with regional and international Arab press, securing positive coverage, and mitigating potential reputational risks.
- You will monitor, manage, and respond to Arabic media enquiries, ensure alignment with Dubai Airports’ corporate policies and reputation, deliver consistent messaging, and act as an official Arabic spokesperson.
- You will manage Arabic content development by drafting speeches and press materials, preparing senior leadership for media engagements, overseeing translation quality, and ensuring optimal coverage of Dubai Airports’ products and services across internal and external channels.
- You will design and deliver Arabic media strategies and campaigns, including digital and social media monitoring and reporting, press conferences, media tours, spokesperson preparation, campaign execution, and supervision of media events and coordination teams.
What you bring
- You’ll be educated to a Bachelors Degree level in a Communications related field.
- You should have 7–10 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within an airport, aviation, or agency environment, including 3–5 years of relevant experience across public relations, advertising, publishing, and social media platforms.
- You’ll have comprehensive experience in the aviation or hospitality industry or working in a complex, cross-functional service-oriented organization.
- You’ll have excellent business level written/spoken Arabic, suitable for variety of audiences.
- You’ll have a good understanding of the regional (UAE and GCC) media, and media contacts.
