About The Role
Do you have a passion for events? Do you love over exceeding targets and pursuing new and exciting business opportunities? Then our division is awaiting your application today! As a Manager, Special Events, you will be responsible for personal and team conversion and event management of group leads, allowing the groups segment to reach and/or exceed the departmental revenue. This role is based in Dubai and is customer facing, both within the resort(s) and visitation of local accounts.
About You
The successful Manager, Special Events candidate will have at least 2 years' experience within a 5-star resort/hotel within Dubai, within a similar role, and have a passion for luxury events combined with restaurant knowledge.
You will also possess a flair for events, holding a passion to increase all sales opportunities whilst applying your strong negotiation skills complemented by your ability to develop and build rapport with prospective clients. Academic qualification is not essential, but our ideal candidate will be fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and generate demand for resort and hotel venues. You will be a curious, fast-learner, with a fearless attitude and a passion for events and restaurants as well as comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. A proven track record within sales and events in the hospitality industry is essential.
