The opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Supplier Management Lead to oversee and optimize our relationships with external staffing vendors and agencies. Reporting to the Director of Flexible Workforce, this role will be instrumental in building scalable supplier engagement processes as we continue to grow in the Middle East and expand our footprint across international markets. You will act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external talent partners, ensuring alignment with workforce strategy, compliance, cost efficiency, and delivery of top tech talent.

Your Key Responsibilities

Supplier Engagement & Performance

  • Own end-to-end supplier lifecycle management including onboarding, performance tracking, and offboarding of staffing agencies.
  • Establish SLAs, KPIs, and regular scorecard reviews with agency partners.
  • Identify and engage new suppliers to support talent needs in emerging markets.
  • Resolve escalations related to vendor performance, billing, or compliance.

Process Optimization

  • Design and implement standardized procedures for agency engagement, rate negotiation, requisition submission, and feedback loops.
  • Collaborate with the Contingent Workforce Team and Procurement to maintain vendor contracts and rate cards.
  • Support the buildout of a Vendor Management System (VMS) or optimize existing tooling for scale and transparency.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure supplier agreements adhere to internal policies, labor laws, and international compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, and Finance on audits, risk reviews, and data privacy obligations.

Data & Reporting

  • Track supplier performance, fill ratios, cycle times, and cost per hire.
  • Deliver insights to inform supplier decisions and workforce planning.
  • Support dashboards and reporting cadence for leadership visibility.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with hiring managers, HR, Procurement, and Finance to understand needs and provide timely solutions.
  • Act as a central point of coordination between internal leads and external staffing partners.

What We’re Looking For

  • Required skills / qualifications
  • 8–10 years of experience in supplier/vendor management, workforce solutions, or staffing operations; contingent workforce experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract labor, MSP/VMS ecosystems, and agency dynamics.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and international compliance frameworks is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Experience in tech or high-growth companies is a plus.
  • Preferred skills / qualifications
  • Experience in managing technical or high-volume contract workforce in enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to managed service providers (MSPs) or internal CW programs.
  • Advanced Excel or reporting tool proficiency (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
