Job Purpose

As Manager in - Destination Sales and Distribution, you will lead and drive the sales strategy for the DMC In-Destination brand, with a core focus on maximizing revenue growth, expanding distribution channels, and building strong strategic partnerships.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust sales and marketing plans, targeting both internal and external partners, and direct to consumer channels; you will also define the commercial rollout strategy across international markets, optimize the product portfolio mix, and lead the achievement of ambitious sales and profitability targets for destination experiences and services.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust sales and marketing plans, targeting both internal and external partners, and direct to consumer channels; you will also define the commercial rollout strategy across international markets, optimize the product portfolio mix, and lead the achievement of ambitious sales and profitability targets for destination experiences and services.
In this role, you will
- Define and drive the long-term commercial plan to drive in-destination product sales, ensuring alignment with the broader DMC growth strategy
- Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans focused on new and existing distribution channels
- Identify and exploit new revenue opportunities through additional distribution streams
- Lead high-level partnerships with governments, tourism boards, OTAs, hotels, and other key stakeholders
- Collaborate with E-Commerce to drive online traffic conversion and meet digital sales targets
- Oversee achievement of revenue, profitability, and resource utilization targets
- Foster a high-performance, sales-driven culture built around accountability, open communication, and cross-functional collaboration
- Set clear, measurable sales targets and development plans for the team, with regular performance reviews and structured feedback loops, addressing training needs
- Foster collaboration across the Group business units to maximise commercial opportunities
- Champion the implementation of best-in-class operational procedures, service standards, and quality management initiatives to support sustainable business growth
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years’ experience in a Sales/Commercial role in a DMC/Hotel, of which 5+ years were held at a managerial level
- Demonstrated success in selling innovative partnerships and creating dynamic sales and marketing platforms and activations for blue-chip brands, including experience with online distribution channels
- Proven ability to organize, delegate, and deliver work effectively within multinational and multicultural environments
- Strong analytical skills with a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving
- Creative and lateral thinker with a track record of developing unique solutions and ideas
- Effective leader and collaborative team player
- Self-motivated, highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to changing needs
- In-depth understanding of the travel industry, consumer behaviour, and market trends, including competitive landscape analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage
- Familiarity with destination-specific knowledge and product offerings
