About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager IT Compliance to lead our Technology & Security complaince initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional web & app experiences. The Manager of IT Compliance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing IT compliance programs to ensure the secure and efficient operation of our technology systems. This role will collaborate with various departments to establish and maintain policies and procedures that comply with industry regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of IT compliance frameworks, and the ability to drive a culture of compliance within the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant IT compliance regulations, standards, and frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain an IT compliance program, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with legal and IT teams to develop and update IT policies and procedures.
  • Communicate policies clearly to all relevant stakeholders and ensure widespread understanding and adherence.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential IT compliance risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and manage regular internal and external IT audits.
  • Monitor and report on compliance issues, ensuring prompt resolution of identified deficiencies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all employees are well-informed about IT compliance requirements.
  • Foster a culture of compliance awareness throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan for IT compliance breaches.
  • Lead investigations into any potential breaches and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Work closely with IT teams, legal, and other departments to integrate compliance requirements into IT processes and projects.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on IT compliance matters.

Skills & Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree and relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are preferred.
  • Proven experience (6 years) in IT compliance management, preferably in the hospitality or related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead compliance initiatives.
