Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


  • Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes.
  • Coordinate and manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
  • Monitor and optimize logistics costs and efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and optimize stock rotation.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
  • Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Optimize routing and scheduling to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations.
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management
