The Manager, Logistics & Warehousing, Air & Sea is a mid senior position based in the Middle East in Dubai, the manager will be responsible to oversee the daily operations, ensuring the smooth cargo movement, optimizing the processes, ensuring all Hub activities align with organizational goals and fulfill customer's expectation. It is expected that this person is able to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team, shows initiative and has the ability to drive people and be part of the middle leadership team.

Role: Manager, Logistics & Warehousing, Air & Sea

Direct subordinates: 3-4

Detailed Responsibilities:

Operation management:

• Supervise daily operations, including receiving, stock management and outbound in a timely manner according to customer’s SOP and Customer's KPI
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal product team ensure timely and accurate of order processing
• Process improvement and optimize operational efficiency to improve productivity and reduce cost
• Inventory control
• Drive IT optimization and integration projects, including IT system management.
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and address customer's complaint or concern in a timely and efficient manner
  
  
  

Team leadership and management:

• Lead, train, and develop the supply hub team
• Set measurable and achievable performance goal and conduct regular review
• Adhere and follow company policies
  
  
  

Commercial support:

• Support product team on the Pricing/commercial to provide supply hub solution in line with customer's expectation
• Grow the Supply Hub business
• Drive the tendering and pricing processes for RFQs etc.
• Develop a solid supply HUB framework and collaborating with the other divisions to identify Ideal-Client-Profiles
  
  
  

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Develop and manage the Hub's operating budget
• Cost control associated with staffing, equipment, maintenance etc.
• Ensure cost-efficient procurement of materials consumables and services, vendor selection
• Full responsibility of Air & Sea warehousing/Supply HUB P&L
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics or warehouse management and facility management, knowing Oil & Gas industry product and OOG material handling, heavy lift will be an advantage
• Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations and distribution process
• Familiar with WMS, knowing C2C will be an advantage
• Good knowledge about Dubai Customs rules, Jafza rules in terms of Inbound and outbound and stock management
• Positive working attitude, excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
