Manager/Procurement Analytics

Job Description

Analyzing procurement spend to decrease costs, increase efficiency, and improve supplier relationships and conducting market intelligence on price discovery and alternate sourcing. Perform data analytics across procurement & admin department, achieving operations processes. Perform improvements initiatives and support divisions to achieve sustainable performance KPIs and cost savings. Develop capex & opex budget and manage cost optimization. Follow up on all Audit observation compliance. Enhance procurement Governance (DoP), manuals and guidelines based on feedback and new requirements by analyzing the strategy, spend data and required controls.

Responsibilities

• Carryout consolidation and cleansing of vendor spend data from all Category Management teams, gathering e&’s expenditures on goods/services from suppliers/vendors, analyze and advice teams on spend behavior to drive strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Ensure effectiveness of spend data management systems/processes that is employed for guaranteed efficient, confidential and secure collection, sorting and management of data.
• Perform required market research and gathering of competitive intelligence information on supplier onboarding, sourcing, contracts and spend periodically to achieve sustainable operations excellence.
• Spend analytics to drive insights, trends and lessons learned, aiming at decreasing costs, increasing efficiency and improving supplier relationships.
• Review and update DoP and processes across categories, for consistent and accurate sourcing of data for the analytics and decision making purpose and coordinating with finance and department stakeholders to adopt required changes.
• Analyze and interpret information to extract market insights and predictions at industry-wide and opportunity-specific levels in procurement domain.
• Carryout annual departments Opex & Capex budgets (AED 350m) through a detailed bottom up analysis against historical run rates
• Do financial feasibility assessment including business cases for new budget requirements that will ensure the rational is property justified.
• Carryout agreed cost optimsation programs with stakeholders that effects the company Opex which are within the P&C department’s purview to achieve corporate level savings.
• Create reports for senior management regarding all category areas and consolidate procurement insights that contribute to major decision-making milestones including KPIs that drives the Procurement performance measures.
• Perform planning and budgeting for organization wide centralized expenses managed by the P&C department and forecast any future lapses and needs by analyzing the current expense.
• Execute performance improvement programs to communicate the KPIs to relevant stakeholders and share the KPI analytics with them to adhere the targets.
• Implement ongoing development of the Procurement Analytics function’s employees, and guide and assure their continuous developmental activities under the direction of Operations Excellence & Procurement Analytics Lead.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Finance or relevant field
• 3-4 years of experience in Budget ,data analytics, AI , Project management specifically within procurement function of a technology organization
