Introduction
As a Market Manager for Alternate Accommodation, you will be based in the UAE and lead our efforts to grow this key portfolio across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
*
Develop business strategies to achieve growth targets and expand inventory coverage for the Alternative Accommodation portfolio (Non-standard hotels) in the MEA region.
*
Analyze market landscape and dynamics to identify challenges and opportunities through data analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence.
*
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including property management companies and travel partners, to develop the assigned area; this includes organizing destination workshops and attending exhibitions as required.
*
Maintain and enhance existing partnerships by monitoring performance, providing ongoing support, and driving revenue growth for the current portfolio.
*
Possess knowledge of the technical integration for various software and Channel Manager partners.
*
Take a customer-centric approach to ensure hotel content, rates, and availability are competitive, aligned with company standards, and offer the best value to [1] Trip.com customers.
*
Collaborate with other regions, the operations team, and cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of business initiatives.
*
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting business performance, challenges, and proposed solutions.
*
Perform other tasks as assigned based on business needs.
What you'll Need to Succeed:

Fluent in English.
*
Proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
*
Team player with a driven, "get it done" attitude.
*
Detail-oriented with fast learning capabilities.
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
*
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
*
Creative, innovative, and able to effectively drive and manage change.
*
A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or revenue management within the online travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industry.
